You can download a podcast of a recent interview with Dr. Gabriel Cousens, author of “There is a Cure for Diabetes“, conducted by Mike Adams, The Health Ranger. In about 40 minutes, he details how he took 11 people through a raw food regimen and made startling improvements in their health and their lives. This truly is a “must listen” interview for anyone suffering from diabetes, obesity or blood sugar disorders. Dr. Cousens is founder of the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Patagonia, Arizona.
At the Tree of Life, they claim to see total reversal of type-2 diabetes in 3 weeks!
He claims a 90% – 95% cure rate for type-2 diabetes using the process described by Dr. Cousens in this interview. This is absolutely amazing, given conventional medicine (drugs and surgery) claims less than a 1% cure rate, and then only with the use of expensive and damaging drugs like metformin and insulin. I love it when he says, “When you look in the wrong place, you find the wrong answers.” That’s the problem with the approach taken by ‘mainstream’ medical researchers. By contrast, his approach reduces insulin resistance while providing support for the pancreas. He also explains the role of heavy metals and how this approach helps eliminate them from the diet. And he touches on the role of other lifestyle choices including a lack of sleep.
Dr. Cousens also talks about the ‘20-year rule’ which says that 20 years after the introduction of refined sugar and refined starches like white flour in the diet, you will see the onset of diabetes. He also gives evidence that goes against the conventional wisdom that protein has a low glycemic index. Only raw, plant-based protein can provide the low-glycemic index healing that in necessary to reverse a chronic condition like type2 diabetes.
With diabetes, blood sugar issues and related obesity becoming epidemic in this country, please share this with those you care about. There is a realistic alternative that is very simple, inexpensive and therefore within the reach of virtually everyone.
